Tradestaff is looking for experienced Electricians for long-term residential and commercial opportunities across Dunedin and Queenstown.

Qualified Electrician and ready for a change?


  • Tradestaff is looking for experienced Electricians for long-term residential and commercial opportunities across Dunedin and Queenstown.
  • Whether you’re already in New Zealand, looking to relocate south, or need sponsorship with an accredited employer, we’d like to hear from you.
  • $30–$40/hr depending on experience
  • Residential + commercial projects
  • Dunedin & Queenstown
  • Sponsorship opportunities for suitable candidates
  • Long-term work with established contractors

What we’re looking for


We want sparkies who are hands-on, reliable and confident in their trade, with solid experience across areas such as:


  • Residential and commercial wiring
  • Switchboards, lighting, outlets and power distribution
  • Fault-finding and electrical repairs
  • Testing and verification
  • Reading plans, drawings and specifications
  • Installing and connecting electrical equipment
  • Completing Certificates of Compliance (COC’s)
  • Preventative maintenance and servicing


You’ll have EWRB registration and a current practising licence, or already be progressing through the New Zealand registration process.


You’ll also need your own hand tools, reliable transport, good recent work references and a strong approach to Health & Safety.
