About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Civil Construction Manager to lead and oversee critical civil construction projects in the beautiful Tauranga Bay of Plenty Region. This is a pivotal role for an individual with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our region's infrastructure, working on-site to bring ambitious projects to life. 🏗️

The Role Will Involve

  • Leading and managing all aspects of civil construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Overseeing site operations, including resource allocation, team management, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. ⚠️

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Extensive experience in senior civil construction management roles.
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale civil infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, utilities, earthworks).
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation relevant to construction.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent extensive practical experience.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
