YOUR NEXT GIG:

RB Recruitment is after experienced scaffolding spannerhands (Ticketed or non-ticketed!) To support two of our largest scaffolding clients in multiple projects in the Canterbury region.


With multiple positions available, you will be working on mainly light commercial and residential buildings to erect, maintain and de-erect scaffolding structures and performing all labouring duties as required to support your team of experienced scaffolders. Learn from the best!


Scaffolding is a physically demanding role, so your skills on the tools and ability ability to handle heavy scaffolding materials while working in a team are crucial in efficient workflow.


As well as fitness, you will have experience with impact tools, spanners, levellers and hammers, and tube & clip, ring lock, and mobile scaffolds on commercial and residential sites.

YOU BRING:


  • Previous scaffolding hand experience - proven and documented on your CV
  • Confident using spanners, hand tools, and basic power tools
  • Understanding and previous education in site safety, including working around heights and moving loads
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced team-oriented environment
  • Full or restricted driver licence
  • Class 2 license is an advantage!
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather. We provide PPE
  • Capable of repetitive (20-30kg) components. A clean recent ACC record is essential. Your health matters!
  • Ability to work at heights under supervision.
