About the Role:


We're seeking a vibrant, passionate qualified teacher to join our preschool team ( 3-4 yr olds) at BestStart Baverstock Oaks. With a supportive, collaborative environment and strong ties to Baverstock Primary School, we ensure smooth transitions for our tamariki. Located near the Buddhist temple, we promote community connections through regular walks. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.


Role requirements:


Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following:


  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
  • Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
  • Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
