About the role


We're looking for a permanent, part-time Home Support Worker, ideally with a Caregiving background, to join our team at our Bayswater Village in Mt Maunganui. You will be part of the team providing support to our residents to enable them to live an independent life.


We have the following vacancy available;

Saturday and Sunday 7am to 3pm = 15hrs week

You must be available to work both weekend days.


There may also be the opportunity for you to pick up additional hours if desired.

Some of the great things you will be doing:


  • First aid support: able to respond calmly to emergency call bells
  • Housekeeping support- provide support to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Personal support to assist with personal cares while maintaining resident's dignity
  • First call for any emergency response that may occur


About you


We are looking for an outgoing person who is respectful, has great communication skills and can use their initiative. Other things that will help include:


  • Caregiving experience ideally in Aged Care
  • Current First Aid Certificate, although training is provided
  • Patience and willingness to deliver an outstanding service to our residents
