If you are a technically strong Automotive Technician with European vehicle experience, this is an opportunity to join an established workshop in one of New Zealand's most desirable locations.


The workshop is looking for technicians who enjoy working with premium European vehicles and want to continue developing their technical skills through ongoing manufacturer training and exposure to the latest vehicle technology.


What you can expect


  • $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience and manufacturer training
  • Permanent, full-time position with a minimum 40-hour week

Your day-to-day


You will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing a range of European vehicles, with the opportunity to work on increasingly complex technical issues.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Advanced diagnostics and electrical fault-finding
  • Minor and major mechanical repairs
  • Identifying faults and providing effective technical solutions
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and productivity
  • Supporting the workshop team across day-to-day operations
  • Discussing repairs and technical findings with customers when required


About you


  • A recognised Automotive Technician trade qualification
  • Solid experience working with European vehicles
  • European franchise training, preferably at Diagnostic or Master Technician level
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
  • A full, clean driver's licence
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A methodical approach and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment
