Job Description

Experienced Project Engineer, Contracts Manager with previous experience in the civil / drainage industry in NZ seeking part - time flexible hours.

  • Flexible Part-time hours
  • Porirua Offices - projects across Greater Wellington Region
  • Stable, long term pipeling of works

Our client is a local Wellington civil construction firm providing services across earthworks, stormwater, sewage, rail. Due to current and future planned workload, they are seeking to appoint for the role of part-time contracts manager, flexible 20 – 25 hours per week.


Role responsibilities will include:

  • Preconstruction documentation
  • Liaison with relevant third parties for planned shutdowns
  • Tendering Programmes
  • Methodology writing
  • Sequencing
  • High level scheduling
  • Support pricing
  • Cost Management
  • Documentation and reporting
  • Compliance monitoring
  • Manage the dockets
  • Collation and management of variations and claims

Background

  • Will suit an experienced PE, PM, CM with previous experience in the civil / drainage industry in NZ seeking part – time flexible hours
  • Strong systems and communication skills
  • Background in contracts management / project engineering
  • Current NZ drivers Licence
