Join us to work alongside passionate innovators in a fast-moving, collaborative environment where your ideas are valued and initiative is rewarded.

At Recorp, you’ll have the opportunity to grow, make a real impact, and help redefine how beverage packaging is designed, manufactured, and delivered. We're not just manufacturing cans; we're crafting an experience and leading the industry forward. 🚀

About the Role :

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst to join our Quality and Compliance team at our Manukau site in Auckland. Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in protecting product quality, food safety and customer confidence by making sure only conforming product leaves our site. This is a hands-on role that combines quality checks on the production floor with accurate laboratory testing of beverage products, while using data to help reduce defects, waste and repeat issues.

The Role Will Involve

Detecting, containing and escalating quality issues quickly, and backing every decision with accurate data and testing. 🔬

🔍 Quality Control

Monitor products and processes on the production floor against specifications, customer requirements and QMS standards. Inspect defective pallets and product, raise NCRs, and promptly escalate non-conforming product and out-of-control processes.

🦺 GMP, Hygiene & Food Safety

Carry out scheduled GMP, personal hygiene and housekeeping checks, monitor glass and hard plastics control and foreign-matter prevention, and follow up on any findings.

🧪 Laboratory Testing

Perform Total Package Oxygen (TPO), leakage/corrosion testing, Brix, bench and shelf-life testing to approved methods. Manage beverage samples from receipt through to reporting with full traceability, and keep lab equipment calibrated and fit for purpose.

📊 Data, SPC & Reporting

Monitor and analyse production data using SPC techniques, maintain data integrity across all results, and prepare clear technical reports for customers and internal stakeholders.

📋 Documentation & Compliance

Keep quality procedures, work instructions, control plans and records current and audit-ready, and support supplier documentation such as specifications, certificates and COAs, along with incoming material checks.

🤝 Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

Support root cause investigations using tools such as 5 Whys and fishbone analysis, track CARs and PRAs through to verified closure, and work closely with production, engineering, maintenance and warehouse teams to resolve issues and prevent them from recurring.

Benefits and Perks

  • Be part of a company that's genuinely transforming an industry. ✨
  • Work with cutting-edge technology and innovative processes. 💡
  • A collaborative and supportive team environment where your contributions matter.
  • Hands-on exposure to laboratory testing, SPC and quality systems, with opportunities for professional development and career growth within a rapidly expanding business. 🌱
  • Contribute to sustainable manufacturing practices. 🌍

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • A Bachelor's qualification in science, food technology or quality, or equivalent experience. A Master's qualification is an added advantage. 🎓
  • Experience in a quality control or quality assurance role in manufacturing, ideally in packaging, food, beverage or another FMCG environment.
  • Working knowledge of a quality or food safety system such as ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 or BRCGS Packaging.
  • Familiarity with NCRs, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of chemistry and quality assurance principles.
  • Working knowledge of SPC, SAP or similar quality and data systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong report-writing skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills and the confidence to raise concerns and stop production when something isn't right.
  • Calm under pressure, with strong prioritisation skills during busy production runs.
  • Flexible and willing to work shifts, with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn. 💪
