Job Description

Our client is renowned nationwide for supplying marquees, furniture, lighting and glassware to weddings, corporate events, major festivals and community gatherings. We're looking for a motivated Marquee Riggers to join their dynamic team in Christchurch and across New Zealand.


As a Marquee Rigger, you will be hands-on with the setup and pack down of marquees at a variety of exciting events.


Your work will involve:

  • Installing, setting up and dismantling marquees
  • Assisting with physical labour including heavy lifting
  • Installing temporary fencing and flooring
  • General labouring duties as needed


We have shifts available Monday to Sunday , with varying start times and locations. Some travel may be required, so a reliable car is essential.


The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a valid Class 1 and 2 license
  • Be comfortable with heavy physical labour and lifting
  • Have strong communication skills and reliability
  • Have a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Be willing to travel and work flexible hours
