THE GIG:


Our Client has a long history as a dedicated service and sales provider and has been supporting the Transport Industry for over 40 years, proudly representing strong, reputable, and well-known brands. With five branches across the South Island, they pride themselves on maintaining a supportive, collaborative, and committed team culture.


This newly created position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced truck dismantler, mechanic, parts specialist, or supervisor looking to take the next step in their career.


We are looking for someone who is practical, mechanically minded, and confident working with people.


This role will see you working closely with the Dismantling Branch Manager in a key role supporting the team, assisting customers, and helping to grow and improve our dismantling operation.



Responsibilities in your new role will include:


  • Hands-on and willing to get stuck in alongside the team, providing supervision, support, and guidance to dismantlers when required.
  • Assist the Dismantling Branch Manager with the day-to-day operation of the dismantling division
  • Ensure dismantling work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Understand customer requirements and help identify suitable truck parts and components.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Computer savvy
