Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to plan and deliver a major seismic strengthening and associated fit out project in the Wellington CBD.


To succeed in this role it is essential that you can demonstrate a relevant career as a Main Contractor Site Manager or Project Manager. You must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to co-ordinate a team of different disciplines.


Main duties:


  • Plan all construction activities from structure to fit-out, scheduling packages to ensure deadlines will be met
  • Oversee best practice construction methodology, planning, delivery, logistics and commercial issues
  • Collaborate with Architects, Consulting Engineers and Council
  • Manage a productive and collaborative relationship with specialist subcontractors
  • Implementing and managing any design and build changes and interventions, reporting on progress to the client and all stakeholders
  • Supervise the work of site managers and supervisors and give them guidance when needed
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues


Skills and experience required:


  • Previous experience as a Site or Project Manager on a seismic strengthening project.
  • Tertiary qualification in construction or related discipline.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
