ABOUT THE COMPANY


Our client serves a wide range of importers and exporters with full shipping services, year-round. They offer its customers facilities that are purpose designed to offer seamless accessibility and fast and efficient operations.


ABOUT THE ROLE


We like to think of this role similar to air traffic control with planes. However instead of planes you are coordinating with Truck drivers, Forklift Drivers, Straddle Drivers and all depot staff. You play a very important part in ensuring product is accepted and released in an accurate and timely manner. The correct product is released to the correct companies. All customer requirements are met, and good working relationships are maintained.


FOR YOU


  • Assignment starting October 12th
  • Monday to Friday 9:30am – 6pm
  • once trained may be requested to go into the shift rotation which would also include hours of 6am -2:30pm and 2pm- 11:30pm 2 weeks on each shift
  • Fast paced office environment
  • Temporary position for 3 months – opportunity to be extended
  • Great staff facilities onsite + parking


LOOKING FOR


  • Deal with Ambiguity – can effectively cope with change
  • Experience with RT’s
  • Computer Literate (Microsoft Office skills)
  • Customer Focus – Dedicated to meeting requirements of internal / external customers
  • Experience in Freight/Shipping or Logistics industry
  • Time Management – use your time effectively and efficiently
  • Pass a mandatory Pre-employment drugs test
