Job Description

Carpenter We’re looking for experienced Carpenters to join established crews across Dunedin and Invercargill, working on a variety of residential and civil projects. These opportunities are ideal for skilled tradespeople looking to build their career in New Zealand, with sponsorship available for suitable international workers and potential for ongoing work.

Location: Dunedin and Invercargill, New Zealand

Pay rate: $30–$35 per hour, paid weekly


What you’ll be doing


  • Residential framing, fit-out and general carpentry
  • Formwork and timber construction on civil projects
  • Reading and working from plans and specifications
  • Installing doors, windows, cladding and completing finishing work
  • Working across a variety of residential and civil sites

What we’re looking for


  • Proven carpentry experience across residential and/or civil projects
  • Ability to confidently read and work from plans
  • Relevant carpentry qualification or trade certification
  • Strong health and safety focus
  • Full driver licence preferred
  • Reliable team players with a high standard of workmanship
