About the role


We are seeking a 3IC to join our high performing Newmarket store. This is a full time position (40 hours per week) that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your retail management career within a progressive fashion retailer. As Third in Charge, you will play a crucial leadership role in supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will be responsible for mentoring team members, driving sales performance, and maintaining the highest standards of store presentation and compliance.


Key responsibilities


  • Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in the overall management and operation of the store
  • Lead and supervise store staff, providing coaching, training and performance management to ensure high team engagement and productivity
  • Oversee daily floor operations, including customer service delivery and sales targets
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store environment is inviting and well-presented at all times
  • Manage stock control, inventory accuracy and store housekeeping in accordance with company standards
  • Monitor and promote company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements
  • Contribute to achieving store sales targets and key performance indicators


What we're looking for


  • Proven experience in a retail management role, ideally within fashion or apparel retail
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising and point-of-sale systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
