The opportunity


We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join a highly regarded franchise dealership on Auckland's North Shore.


Ideal for a technician who enjoys complex fault-finding and solving challenging technical issues across modern vehicle systems.


You'll work on passenger vehicles, carrying out advanced diagnostics, electrical fault finding, software-related repairs and minor to major mechanical work. A current WOF licence is advantageous, with opportunities to conduct WOF inspections.

Requirements


  • Relevant automotive trade qualification
  • Proven experience in advanced diagnostics and complex fault finding
  • Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems and diagnostic platforms
  • Asian brand experience preferred, ideally within a franchise dealership, although experience with other brands will be considered
  • High standards of technical accuracy and workmanship
  • Current WOF licence advantageous
  • Clear spoken and written English with strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines in a busy workshop
