Want to get your foot in the door of the civil industry?

We’re looking for a fit, motivated and practical Class 1 driver to join a busy civil crew for the upcoming sealing season.


This is a hands-on role working as part of a larger team, with no two days necessarily being the same. You’ll be working around live traffic and moving between different job sites.


What’s involved?

  • Driving the crew truck as part of a team.
  • Assisting with laying and picking up sealing paper and fabric
  • Road sweeping and general site clean-up
  • Shovelling and other physical labouring duties
  • Collecting, setting up and moving cones
  • Working safely around live traffic
  • Supporting the wider crew to get the job completed safely and efficiently
  • Using initiative and adapting to changing site conditions


What we’re looking for:

  • Full Class 1 licence – essential
  • Clean driving record or very minimal convictions
  • Physically fit and capable of regularly lifting 20kg+
  • Comfortable driving a Class 1 truck
  • Practical, switched-on and able to think on your feet
  • Able to use initiative and work independently when required
  • Reliable, hardworking and motivated
  • Comfortable working outdoors and around live traffic
  • Able to handle a bit of banter – and give it back!
  • Civil experience would be an advantage, but training will be provided


This is a busy and physically demanding role , with long days particularly over the summer months.
