Location: Hawke’s Bay

Pay Rate: $35 per hour, experience dependent

Pay: Weekly


Tradestaff Hawke’s Bay is looking for experienced Carpenters to get stuck into a range of civil projects across the region.

If you know your way around a site, are confident on the tools, and don’t mind getting stuck into varied work, we want to hear from you.


  • Your day-to-day could include:General carpentry and building work across a range of sites
  • Formwork, boxing, shuttering, and foundation preparation
  • Installing plasterboard, flooring, roofing, and building materials
  • Structural repairs and internal and external finishing
  • Working at heights using scaffolds, ladders, or EWP
  • Safely using hand and power tools around plant and machinery
  • Following site instructions and keeping safety front of mind
  • What we’re looking for:Proven carpentry experience and/or a relevant trade qualification
  • Current Site Safe card
  • EWP and Working at Heights tickets are a bonus
  • Confined Space ticket is advantageous
  • Reliable transport to get yourself to site
  • Confident using common carpentry tools and equipment
  • Own tools are preferred but not essential
  • Physically fit and comfortable putting in a solid day on site
  • Reliable, switched on, and willing to get stuck in
