Carpenter

Tradestaff is looking for a qualified Carpenter to join a skilled construction team working across residential and commercial projects in Taupō. From structural framing to detailed finishing work, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced all-rounder who takes pride in quality craftsmanship.

If you're confident working across different stages of a build, can read plans accurately and enjoy getting stuck into varied projects, we want to hear from you!


Location: Taupō, Taupō

Start date: Immediate

Pay rate: $32–$38 per hour + weekly pay


  • What You'll Be DoingComplete carpentry work across residential and commercial projects
  • Carry out timber framing and structural building work
  • Complete interior fit-outs, finishing and installation tasks
  • Read and interpret building plans and specifications
  • Measure, cut and install building materials accurately
  • Assist with renovations, alterations and general carpentry
  • Work alongside other trades to maintain quality and site safety
  • What We're Looking ForRelevant carpentry trade qualification
  • Proven experience across residential and commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of building methods, materials and techniques
  • Confidence reading plans and working to specifications
  • Excellent workmanship and attention to detail
  • Full NZ Driver Licence and reliable transport
  • Reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable working within a team
