We're looking for an experienced Estimator to join this busy panel and paint team. Working closely with the Panel Foreman and Manager, you'll assess vehicle damage, prepare accurate repair estimates, coordinate insurance approvals, and keep jobs moving efficiently from estimate to completion.

Duties

  • Inspecting damaged vehicles and preparing accurate repair estimates using iBodyshop
  • Determining repair methods, labour requirements, and parts in conjunction with the Panel Foreman
  • Submitting and managing insurance approvals
  • Coordinating workflow with the workshop to maximise productivity
  • Communicating repair progress with customers and insurance companies
  • Monitoring estimate accuracy, cost variations, and final invoicing
  • Maintaining complete and compliant repair documentation
  • Supporting workshop KPI achievement, including productivity, efficiency, labour gross profit, and job throughput


About You


  • At least 3 years' experience as an Automotive Estimator or Insurance Repair Coordinator
  • While someone with estimating experience is ideal, we would also consider a Panel Beater looking to get off the tools as training will be provided
  • A solid understanding of collision repair processes and insurance repair procedures
  • Experience using iBodyshop or similar estimating software
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a busy workshop environment
  • A current full driver's licence
