Job Description

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Storeperson / Forklift & Reach Operator to join their busy Christchurch operation.


This is a hands-on warehousing position requiring someone who is quick to learn, accurate, reliable and confident using computer systems, as well as experienced operating forklifts and reach trucks.


Key Responsibilities:


- Forklift operation

- Reach truck operation

- Loading, unloading and movement of stock

- Receiving and dispatching goods

- Picking and preparing stock/materials

- Accurate completion of warehouse and stock documentation

- Entering documentation and stock information into the company's in-house computer system

- Checking stock, quantities and paperwork for accuracy

- Maintaining accurate inventory and warehouse records

- Ensuring materials are correctly stored and located

- General stores and warehouse duties

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

- Following all company Health & Safety procedures


To Be Successful You MUST Have:


- Current OSH Forklift Certificate

- Current F Endorsement

- Forklift experience

- Reach truck experience

- Good computer skills and confidence entering information accurately

- Excellent attention to detail

- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

- Good literacy and numeracy skills

- Strong organisational skills

- Reliable attendance and a solid work ethic

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
