Job Description

Sarita Orchard requires a Camp Custodian and cleaner, this position is the first point of contact for the staff staying onsite if there is an issue in camp as well as cleaning.

Own accommodation required - powered caravan sites available


Important Steps:


  • Maintain hygiene standards within the smoko room, toilet area and cabin bathrooms and camping ground facilities
  • Bathrooms and kitchen areas to be cleaned morning and afternoon
  • Cabins are to be vacuumed once a week - if possible
  • Check smoke detectors are operational
  • Maintain food safety standards
  • Prepare food and beverages as required
  • At the end of season wash all bedding and store in linen cupboard
  • All cabins and camping area to be cleaned at end of season
  • Bring any complaints to the packhouse manager or orchard manager depending on where the worker is assigned.
  • Extra hours possibly available making boxes in the packhouse


Job Requirements


Will need to be staying onsite


MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN NZ - ie, an NZ resident, or a valid work visa.

Sarita Orchard is unable to sponsor you for a 3 month role.
