Job Description

Were seeking an experienced Sealing Foreman to lead a crew delivering chipseal, asphalt and road maintenance works across a range of South Island projects.


This is a hands on leadership role suited to someone who knows the sealing industry enjoys being out on site can lead a crew and take ownership of getting the job done safely efficiently and to a high standard.

About the Company:

Our client is an established civil contractor with a strong focus on sealing asphalt and road maintenance. With ongoing projects and a solid pipeline of work this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sealing Foreman looking for a secure permanent position with a company that values its people and the quality of its work.


About the Role:

As Sealing Foreman youll be responsible for running the day to day sealing operations on site coordinating your crew plant and resources and ensuring work is completed to programme and specification.


Youll work closely with supervisors project managers clients and other site personnel to keep projects moving and deliver quality results.

Duties

  • Plan daily workloads and coordinate crews, plant and resources
  • Operate sealing plant and equipment when required
  • Lead and versee daily chipseal, reseal and asphalt operations
  • Keep projects on track and maintain high quality standards
  • Work closely with supervisors, clients and other site teams

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in chipsealing, resealing, asphalt or road maintenance
  • Previous experience leading a crew or working as a Foreman
  • Strong knowledge of sealing processes, plant and equipment
  • Confident decision maker with strong communication skills
  • Good planning and problem solving ability
  • Class 2 Licence with WTR endorsement required
  • Comfortable travelling and working away from home when required
  • Reliable, hands on and proud of delivering quality work
