The Role


A motivated Junior/Intermediate Civil Engineer to join their growing team based in Mount Maunganui. This is a rare opportunity to work in a highly desirable coastal location while gaining exposure across a wide range of civil and structural engineering projects.


The ideal candidate will enjoy contributing to a small, supportive local team while collaborating with larger national and international offices.


This role is well suited to someone who values variety, learning, and the chance to be hands-on across multiple disciplines.

  • Contribute to a range of civil, structural, design, site, and surveying tasks
  • Assist with project design and documentation
  • Support site inspections and field-based engineering activities
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, senior engineers, and technical teams
  • Participate in multidisciplinary project delivery
  • Provide technical input across local and national projects
  • About You Experience using Civil 3D
  • A strong willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to adapt to varied project types and tasks
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Enjoy working in a close-knit team environment
  • An interest in surfing or the outdoors is a bonus! The office is located only steps from the beach
