Class 4 Concrete Mixing Truck Driver


We are seeking a competent class 4 driver. Concrete truck specific training provided.

This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate as the company is seeking long term commitment.


You need:


  • Full class 4 licence & experience (automatic truck but manual is a bonus)
  • Confident reversing truck and maneuvring in tight areas
  • Be reliable and have own transportation
  • Start time varies and can be as early as 2am (not always this early)
  • Pass drug test and criminal record checks
  • Right to work in New Zealand

  • Pay: $27 – 31 depending on experience, skills, endorsements
  • Early morning starts
  • Occasional Saturday work


Tasks include but are not limited to:


Maneuver truck into loading position for filling and unloading position at job sites

Assemble chutes and operate levers to release concrete per customer request

Perform pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections and basic vehicle maintenance tasks

Clean truck after loading and after each delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck surfaces
