The Shift Promotion Rules

Definitions

The ‘Promoter’ is ZEIL New Zealand Services Limited.
The ‘Experience Hosts’ are Get Goldie, Unyoked Co, South Seas Spearo, Westpac New Zealand, Fonterra, Les Mills New Zealand, Rocket Lab, Zambesi
Experience’ means the experiences described in clause 10.
Disqualified Participants’ are:

a) all ZEIL employees, all employees of participating brands or sponsors and their immediate family members;
b) all people under the age of 18 years where the prize incorporates solo travel or any other element which would be illegal to supply to a person under the age of 18 years; and
c) people who do not have a right to work in New Zealand

‘Immediate Family Members’ include spouses, grandparents, parents, children, and grandchildren, whether by marriage, past marriages or other family extension.

Entry

  1. The Promotion commences 7am Tuesday 30 January 2024 and ends 7am Thursday 14 March 2024. Entries outside this period will not be accepted.
  2. Unless otherwise stated in the Rules, entry is limited to one person per Experience.
  3. Entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of the Rules.
  4. The Promotion is open to New Zealand Residents only. Disqualified Participants may not enter in the Promotion.
  5. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any person from participating in the Promotion on reasonable grounds.
  6. No purchase is necessary to win or participate in the Promotion.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award any Experience to an entrant who The Promoter decided (in its sole discretion) has violated the Rules, gained unfair advantage in the Promotion or won using fraudulent means.
  8. By participating, entrants grant The Promoter non-exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, videos, voices and likeness in connection with the Promotion and for future promotion and marketing purposes and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.
  9. All entrant’s personal details must be valid and up to date and will be held by The Promoter and may be used by some Experience Hosts for the purpose of the Promotion and for future recruitment unless otherwise directed by entrants at the time of entry.

Experiences

Each specific Rule below equates to an ‘Experience’ that one person can be chosen to participate in, as a game of chance (unless otherwise stated in the specific rules below). There are seven Experiences up for grabs. Each Experience may have different timings, requirements and level of involvement. The below rules should be read prior to entering.

Captain a superyacht with two friends
a) Sail on 21 March 2024 (departing Westhaven in the morning; disembarking Westhaven in the afternoon)
b) Lunch provided onboard
c) No boat licence required

Intern on a South Seas Spearo fishing trip
a) 3 day fishing trip in May 2024 (likely 1st-4th) departing from Rangiputa in the far north as part of the Anglers
b) Food and accommodation provided
c) Likely to be May 1-4 2024 based out of Rangiputa
d) Entrants must be strong swimmers and confident in the water
e) The Experience Winner must be happy being part of a South Seas Spearo television episode to air on TV2

Be a Gold Dealer for a day
a) Includes return flights to Wellington to visit the Goldie gold vault
b) To be redeemed on one working day in 2024 - advance planning is required
c) Must have a valid and up to date NZ Drivers License for security purposes
d) Must not have a criminal record

Recharge in nature with Unyoked
a) 1 night accommodation at any Unyoked cabin in New Zealand
b) Can be redeemed anytime in 2024
c) No food or mini bar inclusions
d) Note availability is limited in weekends and needs to be booked well in advance

More energy with Les Mills
a) 6 month gym membership
b) Must be activated before 30 June 2024
c) Not to be used in conjunction with any other Les Mills promotion
d) The prize is not exchangeable for cash and is non-transferable.
e) Not available to current or ex members who have terminated their membership within the last three months
f) Les Mills reserves the right to refuse entry on the grounds of minimum age (15), health and safety. Les Mills club rules apply, see lesmills.co.nz for details.

Be a scientist for a day with Fonterra
a) Experience to be redeemed between 1 May and 30 November 2024. At least one (1) months’ notice must be given by the winner
b) Winner must be over 18 and be able to travel alone
c) Winner must sign a confidentiality agreement prior to their visit
d) Winner must answer some Health and Safety questions prior to their visit
e) Winner must be willing and able to taste and interact with dairy products

f) Winner must have an interest in food science
g) The winner will receive:
i. Probiotic capsules a month in advance sent to winner’s home address
ii. Travel and accommodation to Palmerston North for one (1) person based on the following conditions:
1. 1 x Flight/Travel and 1 x room for one night for one (1) person
2. Flights will be provided if the winner’s home address is more than a 2hr drive from the location
3. A $200 fuel voucher will be provided if the winner’s home address is less than a 2hr drive from the location
4. Accommodation will be booked for one night with a $50 prezzy card to contribute towards expenses. No mini bar or food inclusions
5. Travel and accommodation will be arranged by the promoter and experience host
6. Once in Palmerston North, transport to and from Fonterra Research and Development Centre (FRDC) will be provided
iii. A day at FRDC in Palmerston North. Depending on the winner’s interests, the experience could include the following. The winner can choose up to four (4) experiences from the below list:
1. Meet and greet with experts
2. Cheese making in Fonterra’s R&D pilot plant
3. Testing and creating new dishes with our professional chef
4. Sitting in on our trained tasting panel to taste a range of dairy foods
5. Taste unique cheeses you can’t find anywhere in New Zealand
6. Genome sequencing lab experience
7. “Analyse” probiotic genes for promising health benefits
8. Tour our probiotic manufacturing plant
9. Plan and evaluate results of a clinical trial
10. Visit a dairy farm.
iv. A Fonterra Hamper worth $100 sent to the winner’s home address
h) There are also twenty-five (25) spot prizes to be won:
i. One (1) x Fonterra hamper worth $100
ii. Twenty four (24) x Fonterra vouchers to redeem a yummy Fonterra Treat at your local supermarket
i) No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice

Go behind the scenes at Rocket Lab's Mission Control Centre and rocket factory
a) Nationality criteria applies - you may be ineligible for this experience if you do not hold citizenship of New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Switzerland, the European Union, or a country that is part of NATO, or if you hold dual citizenship or nationality of a prohibited country
b) Winner must be over 18 and be able to travel alone
c) Winner must sign a confidentiality agreement prior to their visit
d) Winner must have an interest in the space industry, engineering, manufacturing, or relevant field
e) Own transport to and from Rocket Lab's location in Auckland is required
f) To be redeemed one working day in 2024 - advance planning is required. The date and time of the experience will be selected at Rocket Lab's discretion.
g) Must not have a criminal record

Behind the scenes to front row at New Zealand Fashion Week with Zambesi
a) exact location and time TBC upon NZFW scheduling - winner must be available between 20-24 August 2024
b) own transport to and from Fashion Week in Auckland is required

How to enter:

  1. Entrants must download the ZEIL app from the App Store or Google Play and create a job seeker account using correct details they can be contacted on if they win.
  2. Once successfully signed up, Entrants will be taken to their Job feed where they can swipe right to enter each experience
  3. Alternatively Entrants can search “WIN” from the ‘Jobs’ tab in the app to see the list of available Experiences
  4. Entrants must click on the Experience they’d like to enter and either swipe right or press the tick to apply successfully (no CV or completed profile is required to enter).
  5. Entrants may be asked Experience-related questions in regards to their skill level for some Experiences - if asked, these must be completed.

Winning the Experience

  1. Only the person who originally entered the Promotion can be awarded the Experience (the ‘Experience Winner’).
  2. Prize Draw (applicable to Experiences other than the ‘Intern on a South Seas Spearo Fishing Trip’ and 'Go behind the scenes at Rocket Lab's Mission Control Centre and rocket factory')
  3. The draw to determine the Experience Winner for each Experience will be conducted on Friday 15 March, which will be conducted as a random draw.
  4. Each entry has equal chance of winning

Prize Draw (applicable to the ‘‘Intern on a South Seas Spearo Fishing Trip’ and 'Go behind the scenes at Rocket Lab's Mission Control Centre and rocket factory')

  1. The Experience Winner will be determined by the Promoter by the responses submitted by the entrant when entering the Promotion.
  2. The Promoter’s determination of the Experience Winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

General Terms

  1. The eligibility of the Experience Winner of each experience will be confirmed by the Promoter. If an Experience Winner is deemed or found to be ineligible, the Promoter may redraw or decide on another Experience Winner. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding this decision.
  2. The Experience Winner will be notified through the ZEIL app, or by email or phone and must be available for the preparation of all publicity that may be required by the Promoter. Where attempts to contact the Experience Winner fail (e.g. when the Experience Winner does not reply to a Promoter’s message within 5 days and has no email address or phone number to make further contact or emails are undeliverable etc) the Promoter will select another winner. (Note: 3 attempts to contact the Experience Winner will include individual calls or emails to any numbers or emails provided at the time of entry).
  3. The Experience is not redeemable for cash or transferable. No other family members, friends, office associates or any other person will be able to participate on the Experience Winner’s behalf unless specified in the Rules.
  4. In the event that the Prize specified in the Promotion becomes unavailable for any reason the Promoter may substitute an Experience of like or equal value.
  5. If the Experience Winner has not accepted these Rules, the Experience will be forfeited.
  6. Where the Experience Winner is required to show proof of age, licence or similar, they must provide proper identification (e.g. driver’s licence, passport) upon request.
  7. The Experience Winner takes the Experience entirely at their own risk and indemnifies the Promoter in respect to any claim for any accident, injury, property damage, or loss of life that may occur in connection with the Experience. The Experience Winner is responsible for all insurance, tax or other unexpected costs associated with the Experience.
  8. Where the Experience includes air travel and/or accommodation:
    a) Flight tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. The flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the a
    b) Unless explicitly stated in the Rules, the Experience Winner will be responsible for expenses including but not limited to, spending money, meals, drinks, transport, incidentals, taxes. The Experience Winner must obtain travel insurance to protect themselves against additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
    c) All travel is subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions of the relevant travel service providers.
  9. Each Experience Winner must claim their Experience within the relevant dates specified in the Experiences above, otherwise the Experience will be forfeited.

General

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, vary, extend or discontinue the Promotion at any stage, for any reason.
  2. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any inability to enter, complete, continue or conclude the Promotion due to technical malfunction, force majeure or otherwise.
  3. To the fullest extent permitted by law the Promoter will not be liable to any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to consequential losses such as loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of benefit, loss of savings, or loss of opportunity) or for personal injury as a result of Promotion entry or being an Experience Winner.
  4. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) will not be liable to an entrant for, and the entrant waives and releases the Promoter in respect of all liability (including but not limited to all expenses, costs, damages, claims, losses) arising in any way out of or in connection with:
    a) any act or omission of an entrant;
    b) any breach of these Rules by the entrant;
    c) any personal injury or death or property loss of damage;
    d) claiming an Experience;
    e) use of an Experience in any way
    f) any theft of any Experience or unauthorised access or third-party interference in the Promotion;
    g) any entry or Experience claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged, delayed, corrupted or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; or
    h) any tax liability incurred by an Experience Winner
    i) except to the extent such liability was caused or contributed to by the Promoter’s negligent act or negligent omission.
  5. Where the Experience is to be supplied by an entity outside the Promoter’s control and that entity fails, for whatever reason, to supply the Experience, the Promoter has no responsibility for the provision of the Experience and is not obliged to provide an alternative Experience or to take legal action to require the Experience Host to provide the Experience.
  6. These Rules are governed by New Zealand law.
