Job Description

Carpenter We're looking for experienced Carpenters to join busy construction projects across Wellington.


Whether your background is residential, commercial, or civil, we have consistent opportunities with reputable companies that value quality workmanship and reliability.


Location: Wellington

Start date: Immediate

Pay rate: $34.00–$38.00 per hour (paid weekly)

What you'll be doing


  • Carrying out residential and commercial carpentry to a high standard
  • Framing, formwork, and structural carpentry
  • Installing and finishing building components with precision
  • Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Working independently and as part of a professional crew
  • Maintaining a safe, organised, and productive worksite


What we're looking for


  • Proven experience as a Carpenter on active construction sites
  • Strong capability across residential and/or commercial builds
  • Ability to work from plans with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
  • Own tools and tool belt
  • Reliable transport and a full NZ driver's licence
  • Physically fit and able to handle a full day on site
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
