Job Description

We are looking for experienced Painters, Skilled Brush Hands and Qualified Painters to join a range of projects across Wellington and the wider Wellington Area.


Whether you’re a skilled brush hand with solid experience or a qualified painter with years on the tools, we want to hear from you.


We work with a range of reputable clients and can offer ongoing opportunities across different projects, with the potential to move into permanent employment for the right people.


What’s on offer


  • $25–$35 per hour depending on your experience and skill level
  • Subcontractors welcome to apply, with rates negotiated based on experience
  • 40+ hours per week
  • Weekly pay

  • PPE provided


What we’re looking for


  • Minimum 2 years’ painting experience
  • Experienced brush hands, skilled painters and qualified painters all considered
  • Strong preparation, cutting-in, rolling and finishing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and pride in your artistry
  • Your own reliable vehicle and transport
  • Your own basic painting tools
  • Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to work on your feet throughout the day, safely use ladders and access equipment, and carry out the physical demands of painting work
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Clean Ministry of Justice check
  • Must hold the legal right to work in New Zealand
