Our Toi Aro Arts Centre team are on the lookout for a superstar Administrator to join the team on a fixed term/secondment basis until 31 March 2027. This role is based at Toi Aro and is full-time hours. We are also open to kaimahi in central government applying for this opportunity as a secondment from your current agency.


Āu ake mahi | What you'll do

You will play a pivotal role of ensuring the smooth running of the administration of Toi Aro and assist the wider  Arts Venues team with general administration tasks. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, artists and tenants of Toi Aro so this will suit someone who loves interacting with the Pōneke community!


Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively administrating all invoicing and payment reconciliations systems for tenants and bookings
  • Managing incoming and outgoing tenants and artists bookings and financial documentation
  • Arranging processes regarding gallery sales and commissions, paying artists and manual invoicing
  • Administrating new studio licences and sub-tenancy leases, renewals, rents reviews and terminations

As this is a public facing role, we’re looking for someone who is friendly and approachable, and has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Strong demonstrable knowledge and experience in financial acumen (including payable and receivable financial processes), knowledge of the arts sector and facilities management experience would all be beneficial to enable success in this role.

We are looking to appoint between $74,141 and $87,224 per annum (pro-rated), for this role, depending on relevant skills and experience.
