  • Leading new product development from concept to launch, working closely with Technical, Operations, Supply Chain and Sales teams.
  • Creating compelling resources and tools that help customers understand the value of our solutions.

About You

You'll be a commercially minded product professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You'll bring:

  • Experience or knowledge of pipe and fittings products, will be highly regarded and help distinguish your application.
  • A construction, infrastructure, utilities or manufacturing sector background.
  • 5+ years' experience managing product portfolios in a product management or product marketing capacity.
  • A degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related discipline
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills, including developing business cases and evaluating market opportunities.

  • A strategic, high-visibility role with real influence.
  • Opportunities to lead innovation and shape product direction.
  • Flexible location options across Auckland, Christchurch or Palmerston North.
  • A supportive and collaborative culture focused on growth and development.
  • The chance to contribute to projects that help build stronger communities across New Zealand.

Product Manager Jobs

Product manager jobs span industries from ecommerce and SaaS through to finance, government, and creative tech. Employers are looking for product leaders who can shape digital platforms, guide cross-functional teams, and deliver clear strategies that drive both customer and business outcomes.

Day-to-day work

As a product manager, you'll set product vision and strategy, manage roadmaps, and oversee end-to-end lifecycles. Roles often involve leading discovery, gathering user feedback, and refining features with design and engineering teams. Many descriptions also call out responsibility for data-driven decision making, coordinating feature launches, and balancing long-term innovation with short-term delivery.

Career progression

Careers as a product manager can move into senior or lead roles, including Senior Product Manager, Product Operations Manager, or General Manager of Product. These roles expand scope from managing a single product to influencing entire platforms or portfolios, with progression into strategic leadership across organisations.

Skills employers look for

Employers consistently highlight communication and stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving ability, and strategic thinking.
