About the role:

Fable Dunedin Hotel is an award-winning luxury hotel in the heart of Dunedin Central.

There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housekeeping Attendant to join our hardworking Housekeeping team in delivering 5-star quality service to our guests.


Key duties include:

  • Service allocated rooms to the standard required by the Resort
  • Ensure that public areas are vacuumed and cleaned
  • Ensure guest comfort at all times
  • Respond to guest requests politely and efficiently
  • Assist the hotel in monitoring stocks and maintaining productivity
  • Working in a safe and efficient manner at all times
  • Contribute to making the Resort a great place to work


To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Flexibility to work across a variety of days, but primarily weekends and public holidays
  • Physically fit to carry out Housekeeping tasks
  • Punctual, organised and trustworthy
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High standards of presentation both for yourself and your work
  • Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Pride in your work
  • Must have current eligibility to work in New Zealand and a good understanding of English
