C & G Moss Ltd has proudly operated Chemwash across Auckland's North Shore since 1985. We specialise in low-pressure exterior cleaning for a wide range of commercial and residential properties, including schools, retirement villages, government facilities and commercial buildings.


We're looking for a reliable, hardworking and friendly Chemwash Cleaning Operator / Exterior Cleaning Field Technician to join our team.


You'll use specialised low-pressure washing equipment, soft-wash systems and surface cleaners to deliver high-quality results for our customers.


Your day-to-day duties will include:


  • House and commercial building washing
  • Roof treatments, window cleaning and concrete washing
  • Operating low-pressure washing equipment, pumps and surface cleaners
  • Completing daily pre-start checks, vehicle pack-ups and site risk assessments
  • Safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Providing friendly and professional service to customers and site managers
  • Keeping vehicles and equipment clean, secure and ready for use
  • Assisting with general equipment and machine maintenance
  • Following all health, safety and environmental procedures


What we're looking for:


  • A full, clean NZ Driver Licence and confidence driving manual vehicles
  • A high standard of spoken and understood English
  • Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
  • Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
  • A strong commitment to health and safety
  • Previous exterior cleaning, water blasting or trade experience would be advantageous, but isn't essential


Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform or First Aid certificates would also be beneficial. If you don't already have these, training can be provided.

  • Pay review after 90 days and ongoing annual reviews

We generally start around 7am and finish by 4pm, although flexibility is required for occasional earlier starts and weekend work. Hours can vary seasonally, with longer days generally worked through the summer months.
