Job Description

About the Opportunity

  • Join a well-established B2B technology/services provider selling into a defined target list of mid–large organisations across sectors (e.g., health, finance, local government, manufacturing, primary industries).
  • This is a new business / “hunter” role focused on opening doors, progressing opportunities, and winning new logos.
  • You’ll sell solutions, shifting conversations from features to the customer problem, impact, and the right fit option.
  • You’ll work alongside an engaged marketing function running structured lead-gen campaigns (with collateral/case studies and campaign support).
  • You’ll be hands-on with enterprise sales process requirements including stakeholder management, proposals, and RFP/tender responses.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven track record in B2B solution selling (complex, consultative, multi-stakeholder—non-transactional), ideally across enterprise connectivity/networking, cyber security, cloud or infrastructure.
  • Credibility and confidence to engage senior stakeholders and reframe conversations around “what problem are we solving?”
  • Strong pipeline discipline: prospecting, follow-up cadence, qualification, and progressing deals.
  • Experience preparing and coordinating proposals / bids / tenders (detail-oriented, structured, deadline-driven).
  • Existing NZ market relationships (or a demonstrated ability to build them quickly), ideally across one or more target sectors mentioned previously.

What’s on Offer

  • High-impact role with a clear target-account focus
  • Strong internal support: active marketing campaigns, content/case studies, and a structured go-to-market motion you can leverage.
  • Competitive senior BDM package.
  • Opportunity to shape growth in a space where speed, credibility, and consultative selling genuinely differentiate you.
