ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for an experienced Resource/Capacity Planner to establish the  capacity planning practice across a large Digital & Data portfolio with competing deliverables. Within this role you will understand the capability, skills and capacity across the portfolio, put the right people on the right projects, and get the best outcome from their resources.  This is not a project manager role.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Matching resource capability to current and future project demands
  • Ensure people are being used effectively and sustainably
  • Identifying capacity gaps, bottlenecks and over-allocation
  • Understand and challenge future resource requirements and balance competing priorities across multiple projects
  • Building a forward view of demand versus capacity
  • Establishing processes, governance and reporting


ABOUT YOU:

We are seeking someone with extensive experience of resource and capacity planning role within technology, digital or transformation.  In addition, you will need:

  • Previous potfolio-level resource and capacity planning experience
  • The ability to translate delivery plans and roadmaps into resource demand
  • Experience assessing demand against available people, skills and
  • Experience establishing resource management processes
  • Strong governance, reporting and analytical skills
  • Experience with resource planning or PPM tools
