Job Description

RB Recruitment work with a number of large Civil Construction companies who are looking to add experienced Class 2, 4 and 5 Drivers to their teams out in the South Canterbury district of Christchurch region.


These positions cover the South/West part of Christchurch from Hornby, Rolleston, Darfield and the Selwyn District and everywhere inbetween.


Are clients being in the hunt for Class 5 Drivers that are willing to work Monday to Friday shifts. You must be experienced in carting, tipping, jack-knifing and spreading and are willing to pay $32-34+ per hour for the right people. Opportunity to transition to Permanent employment quickly once reliability and work quality is shown.


For the Class 4 roles , we have tipper trucks, bulk cartage works, watercarts with 8–12-hours expected each shift. For these roles, you will need to be comfortable in Road Ranger or Manual transmissions and be capable of operating Tippers, with some of the roles requiring basic labour, such as acting as a spotter, loading your own truck and basic vehicle maintenance.



THE GOODS:


  • Excellent starting rate $30-34+ an hour depending on experience and role.
  • Mon-Fri work - have your weekends off!
  • Up-skilling and development available. Class 5 and WTR!
  • Big projects and big hours
  • Ongoing training and support
  • Full PPE provided!


YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF:


  • You can pass a drug screen
  • Current WTR license and able to load your own truck is desired
  • Have a minimum of 1+ Years Class 4 Road Ranger Driving
  • Full Class 4 License and/or Class 5 license
  • Have your own reliable transport
  • Be Health and Safety conscious
  • Comfortable driving to yards in Hornby, Rolleston, Darfield or Rangiora
