Job Description

Duties May Include:

*

Assembling timber frames and trusses

*

Operating prenail machinery and production equipment Reading plans and measurements

*

Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently

*

Loading, lifting, and handling timber products

*

Quality control and production checks

*

General factory and manufacturing duties

What We're Looking For:

*

Previous experience in frame and truss manufacturing, timber fabrication, or hammerhand work

*

Experience using hand and power tools

*

Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour

*

Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

*

A positive attitude and strong work ethic

*

Health and safety conscious

*

Reliable transport and ability to get to work on time

*

Looking for long-term employment opportunities

Requirements:

*

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

*

Previous Frame + Truss or Hammerhand experience

*

Legal right to work in New Zealand

*

Site Safe or ConstructSafe preferred but not essential

What's On Offer:

*

Pay rates from $25.00 - $30 per hour, depending on experience

*

Ongoing and temp-to-permanent opportunities available

*

Monday to Friday work, with overtime and Saturday work available on some sites

*

Weekly pay plus 8% holiday pay

*

PPE provided where required

*

Ongoing support from the ExtraStaff team
