Are you an organised, detail-focused coordinator who enjoys keeping people, processes and customer deliveries running smoothly? Cooke Howlison Toyota is looking for a Sales & Support Coordinator to coordinate our sales support function and help maintain the high standards our customers and franchise partners expect.

Cooke Howlison is one of Otago’s leading automotive groups. Based in our Dunedin Toyota dealership, this varied position combines team coordination, sales administration, operational coordination, compliance, and customer service.


About the role

This role involves coordinating the reception and sales support team while overseeing vehicle sales processes from initial order through to customer delivery. The position also ensures compliance with franchise, finance and transport requirements, supports dealership systems and operational activities, and maintains strong communication across internal departments and external partners.


About you

  • Previous experience in sales administration, operations, customer service or a similar coordination role.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy and confidence working with systems and documentation.
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills, with the ability to learn dealership systems.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and a genuine commitment to customer service.
  • A practical, collaborative approach and a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure, use initiative and take ownership of tasks.
  • Automotive dealership experience would be an advantage, but strong leadership, administration and operational coordination experience will also be highly valued.
