Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled Flexographic Printer to join our client.

Tasks include but are not limited to:


  • Meet KPIs, production and quality requirements
  • Accurately record production records (run time, downtime, waste reporting)
  • Set up, adjusting parameters and run flexographic printing presses
  • Match colours and inks to customer specifications
  • Monitor operations and print quality throughout production runs
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation
  • Follow safety, quality, and company procedures at all times


Requirements:


  • Trade qualification or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in printing
  • Experienced operating flexographic presses - preferably wide web printing
  • Printing experience on LDPE, PET, BOPP, HDPE or similar substrates
  • Strong understanding of printing processes, inks, and substrates
  • Excellent attention to detail and colour matching skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg and stand for long periods
  • Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills
  • Team player with a good attitude and solid work ethic
  • Flexibility to work shifts/overtime as needed


Beneficial:


  • Preferably experience in packaging industry and food safety and hygiene standards
  • Experience with central impression presses (Miraflex or similar)
  • Experience with solvent based ink
