We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Food & Beverage Events Coordinator to join our team at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.


This is a permanent position with 30 guaranteed hours per week . You will coordinate food and beverage requirements for stadium events, functions, conferences and hospitality areas, supporting each event from initial planning through to post-event close-out.

Working closely with site leaders, culinary teams, supervisors, suppliers and venue stakeholders, you will coordinate staffing, stock, service preparation and event administration to help deliver safe, efficient and memorable guest experiences.


Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:


  • Coordinate food and beverage requirements for events, functions and hospitality areas.
  • Prepare service plans, run sheets, staffing allocations, briefings and checklists.
  • Liaise with operational teams, suppliers and venue stakeholders to confirm requirements.
  • Coordinate stock, venue setups, service delivery, pack-downs and post-event actions.
  • Maintain accurate event records and support reconciliation, reporting and administration.

  • Previous experience in food and beverage, hospitality, events or venue operations.
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service, communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Sound administrative and numeracy skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and operational systems.
  • A reliable and organised approach, with the ability to remain composed when priorities change.
  • Experience in a stadium, conference, catering or high-volume event environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience with point-of-sale, rostering, stock-control or event-management systems would also be valuable.
