The Venue

Award winning, Azabu has long been a mainstay in the Ponsonby dining scene and now with a beachside location in Mission Bay . The menu combines Nikkei-influenced dishes and modern Japanese with an emphasis on the fun and the interesting. Azabu is situated on the beach of Mission Bay with stunning views of Rangitoto Island.


The Opportunity

We are searching for Waiters for our Mission Bay venue. Ideally, you will have experience minimum two years experience as a waiter or bartender in a comparable venue, a good knowledge of food and wine would be a huge advantage, the ability to communicate and up-sell food and beverage offerings, a passion for hospitality and creating exceptional dining experiences, and the ability to work nights, weekends and public holidays is essential.


In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering exceptional dining experiences to all of our guests.
  • Offering recommendations, taking food and beverage orders, and serving.
  • Ensure all product offerings and service are of exceptional quality .
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of of food and beverage offerings.
  • Working cohesively with both front of house and back of house and ensuring communication is open.
  • Being an ambassador for your venue and for Savor.
