Stringfellow Contracts Ltd is a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor located in Palmerston North.


Stringfellows is well known for high quality infrastructure work involving earthmoving, roading, drainage and retaining structures.


We currently have a full-time position available for an experienced excavator and bulldozer operator.


In particular, we are looking for someone who has:


  • The ability to work alone, as part of a team or leading a team of other staff
  • Physical fitness
  • Experience in the roading and earthmoving industry
  • Experience in all aspects of excavator operating, including bulk earthmoving, tidy-up work and culvert laying
  • Experience on other construction machinery
  • Ideally experience using GPS guidance technology
  • A sound mechanical understanding of equipment
