He angitūtanga / The opportunity:


We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin .

This is a permanent position with 30 guaranteed hours per week . You will supervise food and beverage team members, allocate daily tasks and provide hands-on support to help deliver smooth and professional service.

You will lead by example, maintain excellent customer service and ensure food safety, responsible alcohol service, cash-handling and health and safety requirements are consistently followed.


Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:


  • Supervise team members, allocate tasks and provide hands-on support during service.
  • Deliver welcoming customer service and respond professionally to customer requests.
  • Oversee food and beverage preparation, presentation and service standards.
  • Support cash handling, stock management and the responsible service of alcohol.
  • Maintain clean, safe and well-organised dining, kitchen and service areas.


He kōrero mōu / About you:


  • Previous experience in a similar food and beverage or supervisory role.
  • A current General Manager’s Certificate for liquor service.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A flexible, reliable and hardworking approach, with good physical fitness.
  • An NZQA Food Handling Certificate would be advantageous. The successful candidate must also be able to complete a satisfactory police check.
