At Brien Electrical, we're looking for experienced, capable Electricians to join our team in Wellington or on the Kapiti Coast.


We're a locally owned and operated Kiwi business, and we pride ourselves on doing great work, looking after our customers and - just as importantly - looking after our people.

Variety. You won't be doing the same thing day in, day out. Our work ranges from small service and maintenance jobs through to larger contracts, installations and everything in between. You'll get the opportunity to use your skills, solve problems and work across a wide range of electrical projects.


A great team. We're a friendly, supportive bunch who work together and look out for each other. You'll have plenty of independence in your role, but you'll also have a team behind you when you need a hand, a second opinion or a bit of support.

About you


We'd love to hear from you if you:


  • Are NZ Registered and hold a current Electrical Practising Licence and Driver Licence.
  • Are honest, reliable and self-motivated, with confident communication skills.
  • Can work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Are approachable and friendly with clients, colleagues and suppliers.
  • Take pride in your workmanship and have a strong eye for detail.
  • Are organised, flexible and able to manage your time and deadlines.
  • Enjoy troubleshooting and finding practical solutions to electrical issues.
  • Take safety seriously and consistently work to industry standards.
