About us


Auto Super Shoppe Albany is a proudly family-owned and operated business with strong ties to the local community. We have one of the most modern and comprehensive workshops in New Zealand, giving our Technicians the facilities, equipment and support they need to do their best work.


As vehicle technology continues to evolve, so do we. Our Technicians receive ongoing training and development, including external training, to stay ahead of the latest servicing, diagnostic and repair technologies.


About the role


We are looking for an outstanding Automotive Technician to join our friendly and experienced team.


You'll work in a large, modern workshop with your own designated hoist and workspace, carrying out a range of mechanical repairs and servicing across modern vehicles.


This is a great opportunity for a Technician who enjoys variety, takes pride in their workmanship and wants to continue developing their skills.


Electrical and advanced diagnostic experience would be a bonus, but we're primarily looking for someone with strong mechanical knowledge and the right attitude.


Other important skills and attributes include:


  • Experience working confidently with scan tools
  • The ability to diagnose and repair modern vehicles
  • Confidence working unsupervised in a busy workshop
  • A strong commitment to quality workmanship
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to work well as part of a team

  • An honest, reliable and professional work ethic
