Class 2 Driver – Civil Maintenance Crew


Morrinsville & Surrounding Areas


Tradestaff is looking for a reliable, hard-working Class 2 Driver to join a busy cyclic maintenance crew working across Morrinsville and the surrounding areas.


This isn’t a role where you’ll spend all day sitting behind the wheel. You’ll be working alongside the crew carrying out physical, hands-on civil maintenance work outdoors in all conditions, as well as operating Class 2 vehicles as required.


What you’ll be doing


  • Driving Class 2 manual vehicles between sites
  • Working as part of a cyclic civil maintenance crew
  • Carrying out physical, hands-on maintenance and labouring duties
  • Working outdoors across Morrinsville and surrounding areas
  • Using a tablet to complete and update daily job information
  • Following site instructions and health & safety procedures
  • Working closely with your crew to get jobs completed safely and efficiently


What we’re looking for


  • Current Class 2 Driver Licence
  • Must be confident and competent driving a manual gearbox
  • Previous civil, roading or maintenance experience would be an advantage
  • Confident using a tablet or willing to learn
  • AWM systems experience would be a bonus
  • Physically fit and comfortable with tough, hands-on outdoor work
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Good attitude towards health & safety
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Reliable transport to get to work
