Job Description

The Role


You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, supporting geotechnical investigations, design, and project delivery.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Undertaking site investigations and geotechnical assessments
  • Preparing geotechnical reports for subdivision and building consent projects
  • Carrying out construction monitoring and site inspections
  • Supporting slope stability assessments and modelling (e.g. Slide2)
  • Assisting with retaining wall design and ground assessments
  • Supporting analysis and design for a range of geotechnical projects
  • Preparing proposals and technical documentation
  • Building and maintaining client relationships


About You


To be successful in this role you will ideally have:


  • Relevant Civil Engineering qualification
  • 3–5 years’ geotechnical experience
  • Experience with slope stability modelling (e.g. Slide2)
  • Experience in site investigations, reporting and construction monitoring
  • Consultancy experience (desirable)
  • Working towards CPEng (preferred)
  • Full clean NZ driver’s licence
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
