About the Role


Our public sector client are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support a key data focused project on an initial 3 mo. contract with potential to extend. This role involves leading discovery, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement to establish foundational project inputs and refine business cases.


Responsibilities


  • Lead discovery activities and stakeholder workshops
  • Gather, validate, and document requirements
  • Develop and refine user stories
  • Translate technical concepts into business outcomes
  • Support business case development and recommendations
  • Work across business and technical teams in an agile environment


Skills & Experience


  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in discovery and requirements phases
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and user story development
  • Experience supporting or developing business cases
  • Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work effectively in complex, time-constrained environments
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
