Hammer Hand


Tradestaff is looking for an experienced Hammer Hand to join a hard-working landscaping construction team in the Warkworth and Snells Beach area. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with solid outdoor construction experience who takes pride in producing quality work.


Location: Warkworth / Snells Beach, Auckland

Start date: Immediate start

Pay rate: Up to $29 per hour depending on experience


  • What You’ll Be DoingBuilding and installing decks, fences and retaining walls
  • Assisting with concrete structures and softscape elements
  • Reading and working from architectural and landscape construction drawings
  • Coordinating and managing material deliveries on site
  • Completing hardscape work to a high standard with strong attention to detail
  • Carrying out routine quality checks and addressing any issues promptly
  • Working alongside the wider team to keep projects running smoothly
  • What We’re Looking ForProven experience in hard landscaping, outdoor construction or similar hands-on work
  • Ability to read and interpret construction and architectural plans
  • Practical building skills and confidence working with a range of materials
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problems on site
  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
  • Full driver’s licence
  • WTR endorsement is preferred
