We're looking for an experienced International Sales Manager to lead our International Sales Team and drive growth across our international trade channels.


About the role


This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance strategic thinking with day-to-day sales delivery. You'll lead and develop a team of International Sales Managers, manage key international trade relationships, and be responsible for delivering revenue growth across our international markets.


You'll work closely with tourism partners, wholesalers, agents, and industry stakeholders, while collaborating across RealNZ to identify opportunities and maximise the performance of our diverse portfolio, including Cardrona and Treble Cone.


What you'll be doing


  • Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing international sales team.
  • Delivering international revenue, guest and yield targets.
  • Managing a portfolio of strategic international trade accounts.
  • Building strong relationships with travel trade partners and industry stakeholders.
  • Identifying new market opportunities and driving business growth.
  • Using market intelligence and sales data to inform decisions and strategy.
  • Representing RealNZ at trade events, sales missions and industry engagements both in New Zealand and internationally.
  • Championing collaboration and a one-team approach across the business.


What you'll bring


  • Proven leadership experience in sales, business development or account management.
  • A track record of achieving commercial and revenue targets.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Experience coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to turn insights into action.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • The confidence to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  • Experience in tourism, travel or hospitality will be highly regarded.
