Job Description

This is a hands-on Heavy Diesel Technician role working across both the workshop and out in the field. You’ll be working on a range of construction and earthmoving equipment, responding to breakdowns, carrying out servicing and repairs, and helping keep customers’ equipment running with minimal downtime.


What you’ll be doing:


  • Servicing, repairing and diagnosing heavy equipment and machinery
  • Attending breakdowns and carrying out repairs on-site
  • Fault finding across hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems
  • Carrying out scheduled maintenance and workshop repairs
  • Working with customers, the workshop and parts team to keep jobs moving
  • Completing job reports and paperwork


We’re looking for someone with solid experience working on construction, earthmoving or similar heavy equipment, with good fault-finding and hydraulics skills. You’ll need to be reliable, organised and comfortable working independently as well as dealing with customers. A trade qualification is preferred, along with a full driver’s licence and your own tools.
