Mō te tūnga | About the role

Join New Zealand Police and play a vital role in supporting frontline policing across Northland.


Based at Whangārei Police Station, you'll play an important role in managing exhibits and property that support investigations, prosecutions and community safety outcomes across Northland.


Working Monday to Friday, you'll receive, process, store and dispose of exhibits and property while providing guidance on exhibit management best practice. You'll gain valuable insight into policing, investigations and the criminal justice system, working in a role where no two days are the same.


This is a position of trust where professionalism, integrity and accountability are essential. You'll be responsible for managing sensitive, valuable and evidential items, ensuring records are accurate and processes meet the highest standards.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure exhibits and property are accurately received, recorded, stored, transferred and disposed of in accordance with Police procedures.
  • Maintain the integrity, security and accountability of exhibit management processes.
  • Deliver professional, timely and customer-focused support to frontline staff and members of the public.
  • Build positive working relationships and support staff to follow exhibit management best practice.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team environment.

Utu ā-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $61,245 and $64,616 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role and would be pro rata for a part time position.
